photo02After decades missing from the archives, the return of The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear in 2013 was a highlight of Doctor Who’s fiftieth anniversary year. The rapid release of these stories sadly meant that their DVDs were devoid of any extra material, something which is highly valued by fans.

Enter Who Talk! With the help of the stars and crew of these two stories, and under the expert guidance of Doctor Who expert Toby Hadoke, Who Talk provides commentaries on all twelve of these previously missing episodes, over two CD releases, or on digital download. Simply play the audio track in time with your video copy!

“Commentaries have long been a favourite part of my viewing of any of the classic Who DVDs. And we thought it was a huge shame to let these two brilliant stories pass under the radar, and set about gathering quite a stellar line-up to commentate on them.” producer Paul WT Ballard

Thought lost for 45 years, tapes of the 1967 Doctor Who story The Enemy of the World were discovered in Africa, and returned in 2013. Now, for the first time, the cast and crew involved in the production reflect on these episodes in six brand new alternative DVD commentaries.

Moderated by comedian and cult television expert Toby Hadoke, this release features Deborah Watling (Victoria Waterfield), Mary Peach (Astrid Ferrier), Carmen Munroe (Fariah), Milton Johns (Benik), Bill Lyons (Guard on Denes) and Sylvia James (Make-Up).

These audio files can be enjoyed on their own or played in conjunction with the official BBC DVD release.

DOWNLOADING INFORMATION

Our audiobooks download as zipped files (due to their size and for your convenience). Once unzipped you will find all of the mp3 files for your audiobook named, and in correct file order.  Due to the way Apple has designed iOS, iPhones and iPads don’t recognise these zip files automatically (unlike Android devices).  So, if you buy one of our titles via your iPhone or iPad, there are two ways to find and listen to your files:

[1] Download for FREE iZip for iOS – then download the audiobook using the link provided either on the webpage or the email we sent you. After the file has downloaded click on the Open With option and choose iZip. The app will open and ask if you want it to unzip all the files, say yes. A minute or so later you will have a list of mp3 files in order, and you just need to tap on the one you want to play and it will start playing in the Audioplayer. You can easily play, pause, jump forward or back.

[2] Slightly easier – download the zip file to your PC or MAC, unzip it to a folder you know the location of (such as your Music or Documents folder), then use iTunes to transfer the files in the same way you would a music album.

We hope you enjoy your audiobook and come back for more soon!
