Spokenworld Audio is proud to support and publicise independently produced UK radio drama. From Science Fiction to Shakespeare, we’ll be making all genres and styles available to you to download and own. Featuring new and established writers, and a plethora of actors, from A-listers to those new to radio.
In the UK, radio drama is commissioned by the BBC (Radio 3 and Radio 4), but sadly there is less being made available to UK independent producers to make. So while we salute the BBC for doing what it can for radio drama, Spokenworld Audio aims to become an alternative commissioner for new audio drama in the UK.
We’re not there yet, but plans are afoot, so keep popping back to see what’s new and to download even more fantastic UK radio drama.
